Klonopin Withdrawal and Klonopin Detox

Klonopin Withdrawal and Klonopin Detox is the subject of this Special Report by Siobhan Morse, the executive director of The National Institute for Holistic Addiction Studies.

What is Klonopin?

Klonopin is the brand name for the clonazepam. It is part of the benzodiazepines group of drugs, and it effects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause anxiety.

It is also used to treat seizure disorders or panic disorder. On the street, Klonopin is known as K-pin or kiddy cocaine.

What is Klonopin withdrawal?

Depending on an individual’s metabolism and DNA, physical dependence to benzodiazepines can occur from almost any dosage over time.

Both short-term and long-term large dosages or therapeutic doses have all caused dependencies.

Klonopin withdrawal is similar to alcohol withdrawal, but can often be worse in terms of discomfort. Detoxifying from benzodiazepines can take even longer than withdrawing from narcotics.

What are the withdrawal symptoms of Klonopin?

The withdrawal symptoms of Klonopin include: fever, hypothermia, palpitations, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, agitation, anxiety, hysteria, insomnia, and suicidal thoughts.

What is Klonopin detox?

Withdrawal from benzodiazepines can be so severe that people trying to get off benzos frequently require hospitalization.

These dangerous withdrawal symptoms can be greatly reduced through a medical drug detox program that addresses a person’s specific metabolic needs and state of health to help avoid the worst of the symptoms.

This kind of medical drug detox has been found to be far safer and much more comfortable than the usual approaches and is certainly much faster than a long, waning period.
